1. Scope

These terms apply to every user of the mobile app “Gedankenspiele”. By using the app you agree to the following provisions in full.

2. Description of Service

“Gedankenspiele” is a social party game that offers various discussion and play modes for individuals and groups. Certain features—especially the online multiplayer modes—require an active internet connection.

3. License

You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on a device that you own or control.

4. User Obligations

  • Use the app only for its intended purpose.
  • Do not manipulate, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code.
  • When using online features, behave respectfully toward other players. Offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate behavior or content is prohibited.

5. In-App Purchases

  • The app may offer optional paid add-ons or premium upgrades.
  • Prices are shown clearly inside the app. Payments are processed solely through the respective app stores (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store).
  • Purchases are generally final and non-refundable unless required by the store policies or applicable law.
  • We reserve the right to change prices for in-app purchases at any time.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

  • Use of the app is at your own risk.
  • We are not liable for direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or unavailability of the app unless caused by intent or gross negligence on our part.
  • We are not responsible for the conduct of other users in online modes.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, text, graphics, designs, logos, and the underlying code of the app are our intellectual property and protected by copyright law.

8. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated, for example via in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Final Provisions

  • German law applies.
  • If any provision of these terms is invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
